| Both acts struggled on Saturday night's live show, with Nu Vibe covering U2's With or Without You and Frankie Cocozza performing a shaky rendition of Coldplay's The Scientist. Finding themselves in the bottom two following a public vote, the boy band were eventually axed when only their own mentor Tulisa Contostavlos chose to 'save' them. Nu Vibe were odds on favourite to become the fifth departure from the show but Cocozza's descent into the bottom two proved a shock, with Gary Barlow exclaiming 'I can't believe I'm saying this' as he introduced the messy-haired teen's song for survival. As with the exit of her previous act, 2 Shoes, Tulisa began to cry as Louis Walsh sealed Nu Vibe's fate and sent them packing. The group received damning criticism on Twitter during the programme, with many users consistently referring to them as 'No Vibe'. // |
